An attractive cutting board made from beautiful hardwood always makes a welcome gift. Not only can you change the shape of the board, personalize it by cutting or inlaying a design into the cutting board. Add a wildlife scene for a nature lover. Cut in a monogram or some other recognizable symbol to personalize it further. You can cut a simple cutting board, sand it smooth, and apply a food-safe finish in a few hours.
